What does Naked Company even mean?

It's not really to do with what the company is wearing. And we're not a totally naked company. That would be crazy and probably break a few privacy and decency laws too. What it would mean if we were a totally naked company is that all information would be available for anyone to see. You can imagine how that might not work well for us employees or the company for that matter.

To protect Mullfrog's employees, and the company itself - some information must be kept private. But some things that we share may surprise you. Take the following number for instance:

¥-56,514

That's a weird number! And to tell you the truth, this is exactly how much money Mullfrog is worth right now. Mullfrog is just starting out. This is the debt it has taken on to open - which is not much, really. Check in from time to time. This number will change depending on if we make some income or if we buy stuff. It's basically all of our income minus all of our expenses. You can make of that what you will but we don't hide this. Why? Because this is our way of showing that all of us here are genuine.

On the main page, you saw some projects, right? Well, most of those projects are transparent and open to the public. They have links to repositories which tell you everything about the project, who contributed to them and an entire history of everything submitted to the project. We're not totally there yet mostly because we're slow moving - but we're getting there.

So, instead - we are a mostly naked company. We share pretty much everything but not totally everything. And we're honest. If you ask, we'll just tell you.
